Women in the Mafia: Mothers and Molls

"A man who doesn't spend time with his family can never be a real man."
- Don Corleone, The Godfather

The celebration of Mother's Day dates back to ancient Greek festivities in Spring. It was later adopted in the early 1600's by England as a Christian day honoring Mary, the mother of Christ, and has since morphed into various days, throughout the world, honoring all mothers. The National Museum of Crime & Punishment would like to invite and honor mothers and their families to celebrate this special day with us.

Our Women in the Mafia event will feature the regular museum tour, but we will also highlight and/or include the following:

Women in the mafia

Mafia movies

Mafia slang

Mafia trivia

This event will occur all weekend, May 11-13th, 2012.

On May 13th, Mother's Day:

All mothers will get in half price*, when accompanied by their child.
Discounted tickets are only available at the gate.
The first 100 mothers will get a museum gift.

*refers to price of a regular adult museum admission ticket
