Guidelines for Posting
At the CSI Blog we are always looking for your point of view to paint a bigger picture of forensic sciences and law enforcement for our readers. If you are a professional, expert, student or educator in forensic sciences or criminal justice, or if you’re an officer of the law and you would like to be a guest blogger on our site, we’d love to have you share your experiences with the rest of the community.
To post on the CSI Blog, please send us:
1. Your name, profession & title;
2. Location/agency/company and years of experience;
3. Your blog entry (please limit to roughly 600 words); and
4. Email address or telephone number.
Possible topics to blog about may include:
- Your first-hand experiences on the job
- Interesting cases and how they relate to forensic science
- Educating the public on a particular subject within the sciences
- Research in forensic sciences
- Resources in forensic sciences (please do not ask to add a link to your site or promote your product),
- Law enforcement practices
If you would like to contribute to the CSI Blog but are not sure how, send us an email and we can discuss ideas.
All entries should be emailed to csi@crimemuseum.org, and they will be reviewed for inclusion in the blog. Except under special circumstances we will not accept annonymous posts, and only if the reliability of the source and information can be verified.
Where necessary, please reference your facts and do not plagiarize copyrighted content.
