 The Crime Museum is located across from the Verizon Center at 575 7th St. NW between E and F Streets in downtown D.C.
By Metro:
The Museum is located at the Gallery Place/Chinatown Metro Station on the Green, Yellow and Red Lines. When exiting the train follow the signs that say Exit to Arena, 7th and F Streets. When coming out of the station, immediately in your line of sight across the street will be the restaurant Rosa Mexicano. Cross over F Street towards the restaurant and continue down 7th Street. The Museum is a 1/2 a block down the street. 575 7th Street, NW.
By Car:
Traveling from the Northeast - (New York, Philadelphia, Baltimore):
Take I-95 South to the Capital Beltway (I-95/ I-495 South) towards Annapolis/Richmond. Take 95 South to Route 50 West (Washington). Follow Route 50 West until it becomes New York Avenue. Stay on New York Avenue until you reach 7th Street, NW. Make a left turn onto 7th Street. Continue on 7th Street until you reach F Street. The NMCP is located on the left at 575 7th Street, just south of F Street before you reach E Street.
Traveling from the Northwest - (Frederick, Gaithersburg, Rockville, Bethesda):
Take I-270 South to I-495 South towards Washington/Northern Virginian. Take Exit 43 which is the George Washington Memorial Parkway, southbound. Follow the GW Parkway to I-66 eastbound towards Washington. Take I-66 over the Theodore Roosevelt Bridge, following the signs for US Route 50 eastbound/Constitution Avenue, NW. Take Constitution Avenue to 7th Street NW, turning left onto 7th Street. The NMCP is located on the right at 575 7th Street, just north of E Street before you reach F Street.
Traveling from the South - (Woodbridge, Richmond, North Carolina):
Take I-95 North to I-395 North. Take the 12th Street, SW exit. Follow 12th Street to F Street, NW. Turn right onto F Street until you reach 7th Street. Turn right onto 7th Street. The NMCP is located on the left at 575 7th Street, just north of E Street.
Traveling from the South - (Reagan National Airport):
Take Abingdon Drive, making a slight right toward US-1/I-66/Crystal City. Make a slight right onto VA-233. Take the US-1 northbound ramp toward I-395 North/Washington/I-66 West. Make a slight right onto US-1 northbound/ Jefferson Davis Highway. Merge onto I-395 North toward Washington, crossing over the 14th Street Bridge. Take the 12th Street, SW exit. Follow 12th Street to F Street, NW. Turn right onto F Street until you reach 7th Street. Turn right onto 7th Street. The NMCP is located on the left at 575 7th Street, just north of E Street.
Traveling from the East - (Annapolis, Bowie):
Follow Route 50 West until it becomes New York Avenue. Stay on New York Avenue until you reach 7th Street, NW. Make a left turn onto 7th Street. Continue on 7th Street until you reach F Street. The NMCP is located on the left at 575 7th Street, just south of F Street before you reach E Street.
Traveling from the West - (Falls Church, Fairfax, Dulles Airport):
Take Route 66 East. Stay on 66 East and cross over the Theodore Roosevelt Bridge. As you cross the bridge, stay in the middle lanes and follow the signs for Constitution Avenue. Continue on Constitution Avenue until you reach 7th Street, NW. Make a left turn onto 7th Street. The NMCP is located on the right at 575 7th Street, just north of E Street before you reach F Street.

Street Parking:
There is limited street parking throughout the neighborhood. Spaces are metered with a two-hour maximum.
Parking Garages:
The parking garage most conveniently located to the museum can be found on the 600 block of F Street, NW (between 6th Street and 7th Street, NW on the south side).
Please note that this garage is closed on Sundays, but that metered street parking is available free of charge on weekends.
Directions to exit:
When parking in the garage, follow the signs to 620 F Street and Harmon Hall. Once parked, take the elevator to the Ground floor. Exit through the doors on your right to reach F Street; the Verizon Center should be in front of you. Turn left and walk to the corner of F Street and 7th Street. Turn left on 7th Street and find the museum two doors down on your left.

Parking garage located on E Street between 9th & 10th near the corner of 9th and E Streets, NW across from the J. Edgar Hoover FBI Headquarters
400 block of 8th Street, NW:
Parking garage located within the Lansburgh Building, on 8th Street between D & E Streets, NW - near the Café Atlantico restaurant

Parking garage located at 900 9th Street, NW at I Street
By Bus:
Take the 7th Street Line of Metro Bus (Routes 70, 71) or ride the Circulator on the Convention Center - SW Waterfront Route, proceeding up 7th Street, NW.
