Martin Luther King, Jr.

"Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate, only love can do that." - MLK

Great Fact:
In 1957 Martin Luther King, Jr. helped establish the Southern Christian Leadership Conference (SCLC), which was one of the organizations that helped plan the 1963 March on Washington. Over 200,000 people came out the hear his famous "I Have a Dream" speech and to March for equality. At that time it was the largest gathering of protestors in Washington's history.

**In honor of Martin Luther King, Jr., the Crime Museum will give a portion of all ticket sales from January 13-16 to the Washington, DC Martin Luther King, Jr. National Memorial Foundation.
