CSI Summer Camp

Summer Camp

Summer Camp

Step into the shoes of a Crime Scene Investigator at the Crime Museum’s CSI Camp! Campers will learn to process a crime scene by working hands-on to gather evidence in the murder of Fred Lawe. Working together as a Crime Scene Unit, they’ll take crime scene photographs and search for evidence. They’ll also start a case file to keep track of the evidence throughout the week.

Campers will then spend two days learning real procedures for collecting fingerprints and analyzing blood spatter from a forensic expert. These hands-on activities are perfect for aspiring CSIs — but crime scenes can get messy, so be sure to wear comfortable clothes you don’t mind getting dirty!

The next day more evidence in Fred’s death starts cropping up, and campers must put the clues together and process the crime scene evidence! Campers will learn the importance of processing and packaging evidence, including the different methods that can be used. Camp will be concluded with a forensic-themed field trip.
