Back by popular demand, couples are invited this Valentine's Day weekend to visit the museum and experience "Crimes of Passion."

Upon entering the museum, our on-staff wardens will bind couples together and lead them on their way to tour the three floors of the museum. As they view over 600 exhibits regularly featured at the museum, they will also enjoy special exhibit boards placed throughout explaining various crimes of passion, many of which took place in the D.C. metropolitan area.

Couples will delight their dark side with true stories such as the "Valentine's Vampire," all while being bound to one another during this unique Valentine's Day journey.

The cost is $45.00 per couple and includes:

Museum tour
Handcuffs ($1 more for furry handcuffs)
Temporary LOVE tattoo
Special treat

Participants must be at least 18 years old to participate and have a valid ID.

Purchase Valentine's Tickets OR purchase tickets through WILL CALL by calling (202) 621-5567.

Museum Hours - Please note that on February 14th, the museum will remain open until 8:00 pm.

About Domestic Violence
Domestic violence is not a crime of passion but a pervasive social illness that requires serious attention from communities across the country. According to the U.S. Department of Justice, approximately one in four women will experience intimate partner violence at some point in their lives. About 3 women are killed every day in the U.S. by a current or former intimate partner.

Help is available for those suffering from abuse - physical, sexual, or emotional. If you are a victim, please call the National Domestic Violence Hotline at 1-800-799-7233 or TTY 1-800-787-3224.

During this event, there will be information available regarding this subject. Resources are available by D.C. Coalition Against Domestic Violence at http://dccadv.org and the National Network to End Domestic Violence at http://www.nnedv.org.
